Select a report with a single click. When a report is selected, detailed information about the report is displayed along with a mock up of the output. Analyzer 3.5 Adds Validation for Microsoft Project

Steelray Software today announced the general availability of version 3.5 of Steelray Project Analyzer.

Version 3.5 adds a new Validator report which analyzes  Microsoft Project schedules for corruption and other data integrity issues.

With an integrated master schedule (IMS), it is common to link to tasks in external sub-projects or to have sub-project tasks link to other sub-project tasks. Since sub-project files can be opened independently of their master schedule, links between files can become invalid.  It is important to have a way to quickly identify issues with the IMS as a whole that could invalidate your critical path.

About Steelray Project Analyzer

Steelray Project Analyzer is the leading software solution for project schedule analysis.  Steelray pioneered this software genre in 2007 with the introduction of  its Analyzer product.  Analyzer was the first commercial software to implement DCMA’s 14 Point Assessment, which has widespread use in organizations practicing Earned Value Management.  Analyzer has full support for the UN/CEFACT XML standard used for the exchange of project cost and schedule data.

About Steelray Software

Javelin is Here!

We are proud to announce the first release our latest product:  Steelray Javelin.

What is Javelin?

Javelin is desktop software that provides the state of the art in project schedule visualization and analysis. In Javelin, the viewer, the analyzer, and the reporter are all one and the same. Javelin’s main focus is to provide a simple way to view and understand the “ground truth” in large project data sets.

How is Javelin Different?

While some software applications provide cost analysis, and others provide schedule analysis, Javelin provides a true integrated analysis (merged cost and schedule). Javelin’s power lies in the the comparison and reconciliation of the two sets into one analysis.
