Step 4: Prioritize and Attack your Today List

Once you have your "today list," prioritize and attack the list. Throughout the day, new items will come in via email, voice mail, phone calls, conversations, etc. With each new item, make a decision on where the new item should be filed. Does it need to be done today, or can it wait until another day? Where does it belong on your list?

Don’t get distracted! Focus on completing your today list, and you’ll have a much greater chance of getting everything done that you wanted to accomplish.

That's it! The system is simple, easy to follow, and (as you’ll soon see) effective! Check your watch: did the system take more than two minutes to learn?
