The Only Viewer That Suppports Microsoft Project 2010

SPV has all of the major views from Microsoft ProjectMicrosoft Project 2010 represents one of the biggest advances in the history of Microsoft Project releases. Because the file format changed in Project 2010, most existing viewers cannot open Project 2010 files, and those that can do not display the data in the file correctly.

The Only Viewer to Support Project 98 Through Project 2010

As a Microsoft Project Partner, we've been working with early releases of Project 2010 for months, making sure that when Microsoft Project was released, our viewer would support it. That day has come, and Steelray's viewer is the only project viewer with proper support for Project 2010. We take our committment to support our customers seriously, and Project 2010 support is a great example of that committment.

How Does Viewer Support Project 2010?

Besides introducing a changed file format, Project 2010 introduces user controlled scheduling, which allows you to manually schedule a task based on the information available to you. In manually scheduled mode, when you enter a task name, the dates and duration remain blank. You may also enter textual information in duration and date fields. In Steelray Project Viewer, you'll see that textual information in the Start, Finish, and Duration fields for manually scheduled tasks exactly as it appears in Microsoft Project. At the time this is written, Steelray Project Viewer is the only viewer that works correctly.
