Reporting potential problems isgood, but SPA will take you directly to the results in your schedule application.

Check Schedule Quality and Performance the Easy Way

Why bother poring over long, complicated schedules, trying in vain to find all of the potential problem areas? With Steelray Project Analyzer, you're just a few clicks away from creating reports with the data you're seeking that would otherwise take hours or days to generate.

Quickly Assess your Project Schedule With SPA's Patent Pending Criteria

SPA runs a series of checks on your schedule, including:

  • Out of sequence activities
  • Actual dates in the future
  • Tasks missing predecessors, successors
  • Non-effort tasks with assigned resources
  • Tasks that haven't started whose predecessors are complete
  • The only analyzer with special checks for Microsoft Project 2010.
  • Much, much more.

DCMA's 14 Point Asessment is Part of SPA's Four Built In Analysis Tools

Built in mini-applications provide even more analysis. The 14 Point Assessment automatically calculates 13 of DCMA's 14 metrics, providing you with detailed, clear results. The tool saves a lot of time ahead of a DCMA audit and are equally useful across all industries.

Creates Reports Directly in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Web Pages

Instead of requiring you to export to Microsoft Office or copy and paste, most of our reports can be generated natively as Excel spreadsheets, Word files, PowerPoint slides, etc.

Create or Customize the Analysis With Our Easy to Use Criteria Editor

A flexible criteria editor is included for customization of the criteria or development of new criteria to use on project schedules. The editor allows you to:

  • Specify no colors, red/green, or red/yellow/green.
  • Set numeric thresholds.
  • Indicate the scale: higher is better, lower is better, ideal value, etc.
  • Use filters from your scheduling application in calculations.
  • etc.

One Click Filters Take You Right to the Results

One-click filters isolate problematic areas in the project schedule so that problems can be quickly addressed. Click on the filter in our results, and in seconds you'll be viewing the matching tasks directly in your schedule.

Analyze by Phase/Period

Global Prefilters allow you to analyze a subset of the project file based on anything that can be defined by a filter. Specify a filter, and SPA will analyze only the tasks that are returned by that filter. This allows you to easily define a date range or phase of the schedule and analyze only that portion.
